Dream Catchers

Native American women crafted Dream Catchers from willow branches and sinew from the Buffalo.  Adorned with feathers and fetishes they were hung above the beds of loved ones so that while they slept, the bad dreams were caught in the webbing to dry and fade away in the sun.  The good dreams slipped through the hole in the middle and were locked in the hearts of the dreamer.
